Lace Leaf Scarf

What are you most proud of? This is the scarf I gave up on in December, but I tried again and I finally got it right! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use stitch markers between repeats, they help you catch mistakes.

Patty Lyons asked:
So excited, you climbed lace mountain :)
danielcv answered:
Thanks! I have done other lace projects since.... Now I want to try a shawl!

This is gorgeous. Thanks for the stitch marker advice! It looks flawless.
danielcv answered:
Somebody else gave that piece of advice to me, so I pass it on!!
sparkle60321953 asked:
The scarf is beautiful, what type of yarn did you use?
danielcv answered:
Nothing fancy, I am afraid. Lion Brand's Vannas choice (acrylic), (eggplant is the name of the color). It looks light in the picture, but it is actually quite dark. Next time I'll make it I will use something fancier...
judycooke0 asked:
This looks great. I'd be afraid to try it.

It's not that difficult. Here are the instructions if you want to give it a try: http://www.purlbee.com/the-purl-bee/2008/12/2/lovely-leaf-lace-scarf.html Have you done any lace projects before? Placing markers between the repeats helps a LOT.
