Jacki scarf

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I haven't forgotten how to knit! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use lifelines and stitch markers, especially at the beginning. Allow yourself plenty of time ... this is not a quick weekend project. But it's definitely worth the effort! I love the cushy feel of the fabric, and the pattern is lovely. A variegated yarn adds interest.

Q&A with KatherineBG

JoJoB asked:
Beautiful! Well done!
KatherineBG answered:
Thank you!
Jean bolton asked:
Lovely work! I like your tips on life lines and markers.
KatherineBG answered:
Thanks! The lifelines seem tedious until you discover a mistake and only have to rip out a couple of rows. I'm not brave enough (yet) to attempt the cable hook method of fixing mistakes.
Nancy Marchant asked:
Really nice job, good color choice too.
KatherineBG answered:
Thanks, Nancy! Great class. I bought the yarn for Alex, too.
