Harvest Asters Shawl

What are you most proud of? This was a summertime project, for sun deck knitting and listening to an audio book, a simple wrap of inexpensive yarn to leave on my chair at work. Instead I got this pretty versatile accessory, which I definitely won't leave at work! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Even though the pattern is fairly simple you need to stay on your toes. Stitch markers are a help, and checking the pattern repeat after the rows of increases and decreases and the plain eyelet rows will give you a chance to correct mistakes. Be sure to corrects mistakes even if it means going backwards or ripping, or else the whole pattern will distort. But do go for this project, it' quite fun to knit !
