Q&A with peanutsings

sofyann asked:
Beautiful! I really love how the stripes worked out the perfect placement!
peanutsings answered:
Thank you for your sweet comment - I just started knitting and the stripes placed themselves. A very fortunate coincidence.
Meghan Criss asked:
absolutely beautiful! This might tempt me to buy NICE yarn for a project...lol
peanutsings answered:
I appreciate your commenting on the scarf - it makes me feel even happier. Since I love scarves, I knit with yarn I know will feel good next to my skin. Hope you try a "nice" yarn sometime, too.
Eunny Jang asked:
LOVE this! did you plan the stripes to work this way, or was it a happy accident?
peanutsings answered:
I just began knitting and once I soaked the scarf and blocked it, I found the patterning the yarn did by itself. I am thrilled.
Stitchnknit asked:
This turned out beautiful for you. Have you been wearing it or is it a gift?
peanutsings answered:
I have tried it on and enjoy looking at it sitting on a table in my bedroom, but have not worn it as a real scarf yet. It is so pretty after having been blocked that I hesitate to mash it up around my neck. One day I will, though granted I find the courage to actually use my very first successful lace project. LOL
