What are you most proud of? That I did not grab my usual colours - olives, browns, sea green, beige. I actually used a blue and pink type yarn. And I am happy with the fact I can make an existing pattern mine by changing things, like a more random number of garter rows. I am thinking of adding a bit of an organic edge treatment, maybe picots. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Draw up the pattern, like Stephen did in the class. That way you have a visual reference to make sense of what you are doing. Also, pick the architecture of the stitch apart, so when you make a mistake, you know what the increases should look like and you can fix it. but really, just do it. What is the worst that can happen?
