Flip-Top Bella Mittens

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I'm proud that I was able to pick the cable back up instead of creating a seam with the cap as a separate piece. It wasn't exactly easy, but I'm certainly glad I did it. My knitting skills far surpass my sewing skills, and it was a relief to avoid the sewing needle one more time. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Remember, when you're picking up a cable (or any stitches), always pick it up through BOTH legs of the stitch. it makes for a smoother, less noticeable line. This is soooooo cute!I want a pair!knitting is not my thing but where could i buy them @?
Goodallwife answered:
www.etsy.com has mittens very similar to these that aren't too expensive. It would probably be easier for you to get one offline if you don't want to make them yourself. =)
