What are you most proud of? Re-jigging Mary Jane's pattern to deal with a slightly finer wool than the pattern called for. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Watch the lessons as you knit - but watch each lesson BEFORE you start that part of the project.

Q&A with GoinBarefoot

Angela78 asked:
I love your color choices! I'm currently still playing around with color and in "swatch" mode. I haven't quite found the right combination yet but am getting close and I can't wait to start the project!
GoinBarefoot answered:
Swatching is definitely worth your while (although I was itching to get started I made myself swatch per Mary Jane's recommendations) - I changed things around after seeing the colors together :-)
rentalrep10024133 asked:
What brand of yarn did you use? The colors are fantastic.
GoinBarefoot answered:
Most of it is Jamieson's of Shetland, but at least the orange was Jamieson & Smith's - 2-ply jumper weight in both cases. In case you're interested, I used Mulberry for the base color and the ribbing; other colors were: Dusk, Purple Heather, Autumn, Burnt Umber, Yellow Ochre, Rosewood, Grouse, Orange, Purple, and Leaf.
