Fingerless Gloves

Project Description

What was your source for this knitting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Fingerless Mittens ~ Plain & Fancy Link to website or photo www.craftsy.com/user/284662/pattern-store What are you most proud of? Ummm, the fit, the colors, the soft stretchy feel.... They just DO the job! What advice would you give someone starting this project? You are knitting with two strands of yarn at once. Treat the strands like they are one. If they get tangled, just turn your project over, hold the two strands (one in each hand) and let your project unwind. Regarding color, have the worsted weight strand of yarn be a solid color, or a heather, in one of the colors that dominates your novelty ribbon/chenille strand. This will highlight your novelty yarn instead of clashing with it.

What you will need

  • I knitted with 2 strands of yarn at once: Halcycon Botanica color #043
  • and a multicolored novelty type yarn called: Magic Garden Buttons
  • color #877. I used size 9
  • double pointed needles. These are seamless and very soft and stretchy.
