Felted bag

What was your source for this knitting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Felted Tote Bag Link to website or photo www.knitdoctor.com What are you most proud of? Making it turn out exactly as I had envisioned it! What advice would you give someone starting this project? The pattern recommends a 24" circular, which is fine, but a hair shorter needle might make knitting in the round go faster and a bit easier. (Or use a longer needle and "magic loop" it.) I used a front-loader washer, hot wash and cold rinse for full cycles. I also enclosed the bag in a zippered pillow protector, and added three T-shirts to the load to balance the spin cycle. The bag tends to "torque", so between washings I got it back to square, and also turned the bag inside-out on alternate washings. In these photos the knitting rows seem to be obvious, but that's not what it looks like in real life. I think the camera flash made the vertical rows look pronounced.
