What was your source for this knitting project? I'm not a pompom & hood type of girl . . . but that leap of faith really gave this capelet design its playfulness. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be adventurous and pick a striking combo of beads and yarn!

What you will need

  • Yarn: Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light (100% merino wool
  • 440 yards) 2 (3) skeins; Needles: US 7 32" circulars
  • US 6 dpns or circulars for I-cord; US 10 (1.15 mm) crochet hook for placing beads; 336 (480) size 6/0 seed beads; yarn needle; 8 stitch markers; Gauge: 20 st x 40 rows in garter stitch.
