Elephant head

What are you most proud of? Well, that I got it done at all. There are many techniques in this class that are new to me. I have not done them perfectly but I have certainly learned a lot so far, it is really great! My next one will be better! I love the yarn and the color. My Kitchener stitch is far from perfect, my elephant has had a few run ins with others, and tree branches so her ears are a bit ragged, but such is life on the wild side. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Get the wonderful cubic needles, mine are knitter's pride cubics. They look similar to the ones Susan is using in the course. I am just loving this course---give it a try!
