Dragonfly Dreams Beaded Scarf

Project Description

What was your source for this knitting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo HeartStrings #H79 Dragonfly Dreams Link to website or photo www.heartstringsfiberarts.com/h79.shtm What are you most proud of? This has been one of my more challenging designs to render. I am pleased with the vision finally coming together. I had actually started playing around with possibilities early this year. Then Id hit a design block or just wasnt quite happy yet with what I had. When Patternfish announced their 10,000th Design Competition, this gave me the motivation (and deadline date!) to tackle this design again. I am so pleased to be selected as one of the finalists. The winner will be chosen by popular vote. Id love it if youd take a moment to vote for Dragonfly Dreams to be the winner. Voting closes. Nov 18, 2011 EST. The link is here -- http://www.patternfish.com/contests/1/vote/4 What advice would you give someone starting this project? If youd prefer to make this scarf longer, each 24-row repeat adds 4 and takes 25 yards of yarn, 14 large beads and 92 small beads.

Q&A with JackieES

Janis G asked:
This is lovely - hope you won!
JackieES answered:
Thanks for the reminder that I need to update the comments here at Craftsy (they are updated on my own website which is linked above). I didn't win first place, but I did come in a very close 2nd. I had such terrific company that it was a honor to just be amongst such celebrities. Thank you for everyone's help in voting and cheering and voting for Dragonfly Dreams in the design competition.
