Devine Neckwarmer

Project Description

What was your source for this knitting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo DeVine Neck Warmer Link to website or photo torontocloseknit.blogspot.com/2010/02/devine-neck-warmer-knitting-pattern.html What are you most proud of? I am really pleased with the buttons I added to the neckwarmer. Buttons are that special touch you can add to really personalize a pattern. What advice would you give someone starting this project? This pattern gives an option for sewing in a lining. I recommend the lining to give the neckwarmer more structure and so the leaf pattern can be seen when you are wearing it. Hand sewing is recommended.

What you will need

  • Diamond Yarn Peruvian wool 5.5mm straight knitting needles 3 hand made buttons yarn needle

Q&A with LadeeBee

MomGrandma asked:
LadeeBee, lovely pattern, and I notice you suggest lining the inside with fabric. Besides maintaining the shape, it keeps the 'fuzzies' out of your mouth. ;) My daughter and her family live just outside of Toronto and the little ones always find it difficult keeping their scarf covering their nose and mouth when it is frigid outside. This would be great for children as well.
LadeeBee answered:
Great idea! Make one for the kids, just reduce the number of repeats on the pattern.
