Cabled Christmas Stocking

What was your source for this knitting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Cabled Christmas Stocking Link to website or photo www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/cabled-stocking What are you most proud of? The variety of the patterning. It's simple as it stays in only one color yet is pleasing to the eye with the texture that starts at the cuff and works it's way down to the toe. What advice would you give someone starting this project? This is a great intro piece for someone who is wanting to do a sock but on a larger scale so it doesn't feel as daunting. This is also a great way for the novice knitter to try different techniques to add to their skill. Remember to read the pattern first all the way through before starting the project to make sure instructions are understood.

You Can Make This

  • - Worsted-weight yarn in two colors - US 6 & 7 circular needles (or double points) - Cable needle - Tapestry needle to weave in ends
