Q&A with Aunt Lili

DaisyandFlorrie asked:
Looks great!
Aunt Lili answered:
Thank you!
Pohutukawa asked:
I used to do a lot of knitting, but haven't for ages. You must have so much patience to create a beautiful garment like this!
Aunt Lili answered:
Thanks! Actually, I'm a fairly impatient person and this is my attempt to acquire more patience. The incentive is that I want a sweater and I want it to look a certain way, so in spite of setbacks and frequent mistakes, I keep going. It is, for me at least, a useful meditation.
Amy Detjen asked:
Oh, Lili, I just love this! Thanks for the great photo. I'm so impressed.
Aunt Lili answered:
Thanks, Amy! I'm so glad you like it. I've been wearing it non-stop since it came off the needles. And thanks for this wonderful course. Between the hems, the short rows, and all the tips and tricks, I learned quite a lot.
KatherineBG asked:
Ooh, fabulous! The design looks so crisp. Really a stunning sweater. Great job!
Aunt Lili answered:
Thanks very much!

You certainly did a better job on the neckline than I did. Love it
Aunt Lili answered:
Thank you! I used the bind-off that Amy recommended. I'd never done it before, but I plan to use it from now on. It's much better than my old bindoff.
