Project Description

What are you most proud of? This took me awhile to work out because (1) I didn't know if I had enough yarn and (2) I realized partway through that the yarn was to scratchy to wear next to the skin. I ended up lining it with purple velvet. I went to my LYS for the button and wasn't disappointed, though I did then need to re-think my closure. I intended three buttonholes and smaller buttons, but this one sang out to me, so I finished it off with a twisted cord loop sewn from the underside. Stitching is covered up by the velvet facing. What advice would you give someone starting this project? In the face of obstacles, persevere! It turned out different than I expected, but better.
