Baby's Sock Monkey Sweater

Project Description

What was your source for this knitting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Baby's Sock Monkey Sweater Link to website or photo www.etsy.com/shop/TrappingsandTrinkets?ref=pr_shop_more What are you most proud of? This is the first sweater pattern that I've designed and it took a lot of work. I read a lot about sweater design, knitted a couple raglan designs from other patterns to familiarize myself with the construction, then jumped right in. It took a lot of test-knitting to finalize my design, but I am thrilled with the way it came out and feel like all my work was worth it! What advice would you give someone starting this project? This sweater begins at the neckline and I can not emphasize enough how important it is to use a VERY loose and stretchy cast-on. I give a recommendation in the pattern complete with a link to a tutorial video...make sure you use either this cast-on or another cast-on that you are sure is very, very stretchy. You don't want the baby to feel like he's being born again every time he has to put his head through this neckline!

What you will need
