Q&A with Purrfect Knittr

deb.engda780934 asked:
Nice job! I just started, and hope mine turns out as nice. Just finished lesson 5....it is getting complicated.
Purrfect Knittr answered:
It is a little complicated. Not a sweater to knit while you're watching TV.
bevbrash asked:
Beautiful!
Purrfect Knittr answered:
Thank you!
Mary Lorraine asked:
Your sweater looks so nice and fits well. I am a fairly new knitter and thought I might make this my first sweater - yes/no? suggestions?
Purrfect Knittr answered:
I think this might be too complicated to dive into for a new knitter. Have you done any top down sweaters? If yes you might try this. You do need a certain amount of knitting experience for this project. You also need to read the lace chart. I just don't know how to advise you.
mountainsailor asked:
wow-looks great. Your sleeves look like a great fit. I'm a little worried that my armholes are a little too big. Was your sizing what you typically wear?
Purrfect Knittr answered:
Yes, I did the 34 1/4 with some adjustments in the waiste and hips (I added a few inches) but the sleeves were knit as written. I usually wear a size 6 or a small. My guage was right on (a miracle) so I could take the tape measure and see how things would fit.
Teren asked:
Very nice...the structure of the sweater is excellent! Well Done!
Purrfect Knittr answered:
Thank you! I get lots of compliments when I wear it.
