Pattern Details

These pretty socks were inspired by the first snowfall of winter. The cuff features a decorative edging incorporating bobbles in the initial round. The lace of the edging continues into the leg but stops at the instep to ensure comfort over the foot. These socks are worked from the cuff down. The pattern includes written instructions and lace charts. It also contains a link to my tutorial for creating a sock cuff blocker. I’m from Nova Scotia, went to university in Ontario, lived in Newfoundland for a bit, and now reside in the Northwest Territories, with my husband, the floatplane, and snowmachines named George and Fred. When not busy with my day job, I can be found enjoying outdoor adventure in the Canadian north or indulging obsessions with knitting, quilting, and pottery. Arts and crafts have always been an integral part of my life. I can't even remember learning to knit and embroider other than knowing that my grandmother helped me out at first.
