Take a long, gradual color-shifting sock yarn, stand it on its head in columns, add some texture and a twist... Voila! An intriguing pop of color that's as fun to wear as it is to knit. Samples shown in Zauberball Crazy (gradient) with Sweet Georgia Tough Love (solid) and Tarantella (gradient) with Valley Yarns Huntington (solid). BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Knit & purl texture stitches Provisional cast on graft in kitchener stitch Intarsia skills are helpful and can be learned with this project GAUGE 25 sts and 32 rows = 4"/10cm in pattern stitch after blocking. Gauge is not critical in this pattern, but a different gauge will affect yardage and size of finished garment. It may be necessary to unravel gauge swatch and re-use the yarn. Take time to check gauge.
