The magnificence of the Oregon coast and the small port town of Harbor inspired me to create a collection of accessories worked in a simple knit and purl herringbone texture. My favorite go-to worsted weight wool, Cascade Yarns 220(r) shows off the swirling stitch pattern beautifully in this easy hat project. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knit and purl k2tog decrease long tail cast on working in the round with circulars and dpns GAUGE 20 sts and 24 rows = 4"/10cm in pattern stitch. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Adult medium 18" circumference (unstretched) 7.5" height from cast on to beginning of crown SUGGESTED YARN 200 yards of Worsted weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Cascade 220 COLORWAY Aqua #8951
