The sample is made using The Natural Dye Studio Precious 4 ply which is a silk yarn and gives fabulous drape, perfect for summer. The colour is Red Brook. This pattern is relatively easy, so it is suitable for a beginner knitter. Increases are by yarn overs, the body has sections of eyelets made by yarn overs and the edging is a simple picot cast off. It is an easy lace design.
