PATTERN DETAILS

This is the pattern for a knitted fairy mushroom. The mushroom is knitted in the round on circular needles in the magic loop technique. I have used 4 mm needles and handspun yarn or you can use DK yarn. The underneath area of the mushroom cap is covered with wool felt and the base of the mushroom stalk is enclosed with wool felt. The spots and green ivy are needle felted on with a felting needle. The base is enclosed with a piece of green felt that is sewn on. Measurements: 3.5 inches tall when finished As soon as I have received payment, your pattern will be available for download. I have always loved knitting, my mom taught me to knit when I was 5 years old. I live in South Africa with my wonderful husband and our four children. We have a little suburban homestead where we grow veggies and fruit and live a sustainable lifestyle. We have a whole troop of chickens, rabbits, cats, birds, fish and a Labrador called Sandy. I love to create designs of animals. I look at their shape, watch their movement and then I can see a pattern of stitches forming before my eyes, its like magic! Have an inspired day. Warmly Linda
