PATTERN DETAILS

Elegant, ornate, and very chic, the Victoriana Scarflette is a delectable cool and cold weather accessory. Feminine, sexy, and a little decadent, it is perfect for keeping wind gusts at bay in style. Cozy and stretchy, featuring a delicately textured body, the scarflette is adorned with pretty ruffles and sweet flower-topped crocheted ties. This project will be a fun and rewarding challenge for advanced beginners. It will also prove to be a most enjoyable project for more experienced knitters. I am a wearable fiber artist and designer-maker of hand-knit and crochet fashion accessories, clothing, and textile jewelry. I have been experimenting with textures, colors, shapes, and drape since 2007. Each piece in my collection is an original design, created entirely by hand, one stitch at a time, in New York. I work almost exclusively with natural materials, including merino wool, baby alpaca, silk, cashmere, and fine cottons. I exhibit my designs at juried contemporary fine craft & design shows, including American Craft Council Show, CraftBoston, and others. In Fall 2014 I will be part of the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show. Featured in numerous print and online publications, my work was honored with the 2014 NICHE Award in Fashion Accessories.
