Inspired by the minty green of Yarnover Truck's exclusive Anzula colorway and the refreshing warm weather of southern California, I designed this lacy tank which easily doubles as a lightweight cowl. Though the lace sports a strong diagonal pattern, the fabric does not bias, which means you won't fight to keep the tank in place. A simple tube designed with a bit of negative ease, this style highlights the bust, nips in at the waist, and hides the tummy, all at once! Layer it over a long tee & take it right into fall - the perfect, year-round accessory! Sample shown in size Small, modeled with 2" negative ease at bust BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY cast on knit purl work in the round basic increasing basic decreasing make a yarn over GAUGE 21 sts/26 rows = 4 inches in stockinette If you are substituting yarn, look for a fingering weight with a recommended gauge of 7.5 sts per inch; each finished pattern repeat should measure 1.5" wide x 1" tall when blocked.
