A fun and easy project for the home, the pillow cover is knit in one piece mainly in stocking stitch. The red cross (knit in garter stitch) is incorporated into the main body of the pillow with the other elements knit separately and sewn in place. Originally from the UK, and after almost 13 years in Texas, I now live in beautiful Colorado with my husband and sons. Easily outnumbered by boys in my house, I am queen of my little realm, hence the title Ladyship! Ever since my Mum taught me to knit and sew I have loved the creative process and experimenting with design. I find pillow covers to be the perfect way to combine my love of design and the textures that can be created with a single strand of yarn. I especially love experimenting with cable patterns.
