Zaggy is a perfect pattern for diving into stash yarns. Based on a traditional garter-stitch pattern, Zaggy can be made using just about any yarn. Although it looks complex, the pattern stitch is made up of only two rows. Zaggy is attractive on the back as well as the front and will not curl. The decorative scalloped edges are self-forming; just follow the pattern! To achieve the effect shown in the photos, choose one variegated yarn and one solid yarn, of similar weights and suggested gauge. A single-ply yarn works well. The sample shown took approximately 110 grams (250 meters) of each of two yarns. The color not being used is carried up the side of the scarf (pattern includes directions). Zaggy's gauge will depend upon the yarns chosen. Experiment with needle size and yarn to create a unique design of your own!
