These cozy mitts are great for stash busting. I designed them to use up all the leftover bits of sock yarn in my stash. They are made with two strands of light fingering weight held double, so depending upon the colors you choose to mix, you can make these gloves as loud and crazy or quiet and subtle as you wish. Holding two strands together creates a fun and trendy tweed effect, plus it uses up twice as much of your leftover sock yarn. Yay! Or you could substitute one strand of DK weight, for about the same gauge. Tweedle Dum mitts are available in three sizes. Unisex styling makes them great for everyone in the family. You can choose to add ribbing to the top or not, since the fabric will not roll. My mom taught me to embroider when I was five, little knowing she was creating a craft monster at the time. Fifty years later, I'm still at it, beading, embroidering, knitting, and whatever else strikes my fancy at any given time.
