Pattern Details

The interwoven cables in this oversized neck warmer remind me of a front porch trellis before flowering vines cover it in the spring. The stitch pattern is quick-to-memorize and accomplished with basic cable techniques even a newbie can master. Experiment with the height and circumference to create your own unique cowls and infinity scarves. My shop is named for Mara Mori, a knitter in Pablo Neruda's poem, "Ode to my Socks." . . . for beauty is twice beauty and what is good is doubly good when it is a matter of two socks made of wool in winter. . . . It is a poem about the joy of everyday things, handmade things.
