I lived in Texas for 13 years and know just how proud of the state Texans are. The flag is everywhere as a reminder, so I thought it fitting that I make a pillow to commemorate my time living there. This simple to knit 12" x 16" cushion cover uses worsted/#4 yarn. With just knit and purl stitches, this pattern is great for a beginner, with pattern instructions written row by row. The pillow cover has an envelope closure secured with three buttons allowing for easy removal to change your dcor or for hand washing. Originally from the UK, and after almost 13 years in Texas, I now live in beautiful Colorado with my husband and sons. Easily outnumbered by boys in my house, I am queen of my little realm, hence the title Ladyship! Ever since my Mum taught me to knit and sew I have loved the creative process and experimenting with design. I find pillow covers to be the perfect way to combine my love of design and the textures that can be created with a single strand of yarn. I especially love experimenting with cable patterns.
