My mother taught me to knit at about age 10.At 16 crochet dresses were the high fashion (remember the 60's anyone) so I taught my self to crochet and sold my designs in my mother's yarn shop. Four children came along so I knitted, crocheted and sewed almost all their clothes and ones for their dolls too, even my son's Action Man got a rather fetching army sweater! My children grew up, I started a career and didnt' take up crafting again until I retired a few years ago. After knitting a cardigan for my granddaughter I made her barbie the same design and discovered that I like to make small things such as doll clothes. I also love amigurami, making dozens of penquins, santas and snowmen last Christmas. I hope you like my trendy designs for Barbie and her friends.
