PATTERN DETAILS

Pattern is both written and charted - with US and metric equivalents. Free support happily provided - lavishcraft@hotmail.com A dual sided/reversible cowl, with different textures on opposing sides. Works up quickly in the round, with the 'knit' side facing (no purling at all, a joy for those who hate to purl) Adjustments can be made in width by adding (or subtracting) any multiple of 2 stitches at CO, likewise adjustments in height can be made by working more or fewer rounds. Simple to knit lace stitch pattern. The stitch pattern chart/description seems complex but is truly very simple ~ once you've done a few reps it nearly knits itself! Needs blocking for full effect. Suggest using a yarn with a high natural fiber content - for blocking memory. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY cast on knit yarn over work in round k3tog slip stitches blocking GAUGE 2 stitches per inch in pattern after blocking SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS after block 31"circumference by 12" tall -before block 28" circ by 10" tall SUGGESTED YARN 132 yards of Chunky weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Lamb's Pride Bulky

I specialize in small projects with big visual impact. Spicing up the traditional with interesting juxtapositions of texture, gauge, shape and/or color. Completing something amazing looking with nothing but your own two hands, yarn and sticks is so exciting and rewarding.
