Easy knitting patterns for 18 inch dolls, exclusively from Frugal Knitting Haus. Five piece set includes, Sundress with matching necklace choker, denim shorts and sleeveless top. (use sport and worsted weight yarns) Denim shorts and matching visor, with cute short top are perfect for beach play! Then change into the dress for a nice summer dinner or picnic! Visor is easy to knit up, so you can make lots in a whole range of colors. The dress has an easy stitch detail pattern at bottom border. This dress pattern looks great in just about any color yarn! Uses sport weight and worsted weight yarns, knitting needles, US # 6 and 8. GAUGE Gauge on sport weight yarn is 6 sts. = 1 inch Gauge on worsted weight yarn is 5 sts. = 1 inch SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Fits most 18" dolls, similar to American Girl Dolls.   • For sundress and choker, use sport weight yarn, about 2 ounces. 1 ounce of worsted weight yarn in denim blue for shorts, 1 ounce light weight worsted weight yarn in coral color for top, plus small amount of white worsted for trim. Use size #6 needles for sundress, and size #8 needles for shorts and top. Use a size G crochet hook for choker, plus 3 beads to sew on later, or any amount of beads you wish.
