Wool Free and Lovin' Knit
Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Joan has been living with her husband and their papillon in Boston, MA for the past 7 years and they have just moved to the West Coast. An allergy to wool caused her to give up knitting for more than a decade. In 2008, through the encouragement of her best knitting friend, she discovered the many wonderful new wool-free yarns that are being produced. She is knitting again and now designing for others, like herself, who are allergic to wool. Her blog, Wool Free and Lovin' Knit , inspires other knitters with allergies to find their own wool-free way in the sheep-centric world of fiber arts.
