PATTERN DETAILS

These chicks hatch in spring and will bring colour to your life. They are the perfect guardians of breakfast eggs and make cute gifts, but they also like to play with your kids and have a nap on your shelf. The body is knit in the round complete with the head - comb, waddle, beak and wings are knit flat and sewn on later. The gauge is unimportant for these chicks, but I recommend to use needles a size smaller than what the yarn calls for to prevent the fiberfill from showing through.
