PATTERN DETAILS

With this relatively easy but interesting stitch pattern you will have chunky warm scarf. Sizing: Finished measurements: Width 8/20cm Length 60/150 cm By adjusting needle size and with different yarn you will get different size alterations. Measure the scarf while you go, make sure that it goes twice around your neck. Gauge: 30 sts and 32 rows = 4 10 cm with slip st pattern. The exact gauge is not important in this pattern. More important is that you will work the length that you want. You can alter the width of the scarf by casting on less/more sts. Materials: Yarn: Schachenmayr Nomotta Extra Merino BIG (100 % Merino Wool), approx 8 skeins (50 g, 87/80m per skein) OR Viking of Norway Eco-Alpaca (100% Alpaca) approx.: 6 skeins (100 g, 137yds/125m per skein). OR any approx. 700yds/640 m of other yarn to achieve the correct gauge. Needles: US 10 (6 mm) circular needle and 2 dpns. Other: Tapestry needle, Stitch marker, buttons if you want.
