Simplice is just what its name implies ~ a simple top that's a breeze to knit and is versatile enough to go from garden to gala. It is constructed seamlessly from the top down with a round yoke, just a bit of shaping through the bodice, and a ?attering peplum. What distinguishes this design from every other sweater tee in your closet is a row of eyelet increases at the waist. These create the silhouette, adding drape and a bit of swing. Simplice can be worn loose, as is, or dressed up with a belt or ribbon threaded through the eyelets. On a more personal note~~I made several versions of this simple top last summer and wore them continuously. It is one of those items that always finds a place in my suitcase when I am traveling. Easy to wear and easy to customize, it has proven one of the most versatile tops in my closet. I've worn it with jeans for Saturday marketing and errand running and have dressed it up by belting it and pairing it with a skirt for dinner out.
