She Wore Blue pays tribute to the best sock yarn available and one of my favourite movies. A classic top-down sock constructed with a garter rib heel flap and a pattern that carries its personality all the way to the end of the toe. This is a cables and lace pattern that will keep you on your toes, but don't despair, it grows very quickly! The 11-page PDF file contains a detailed account on sock knitting, including instructions for all 3 methods (dpns, magic loop and 2 circulars), and the following: Charts and legend. Written Instructions and abbreviation list. Marker and needle positions throughout. Stitch count throughout. Personalised toe according to chart position and size chosen. For this pattern to be enjoyed to the max, chose a solid or hint of semi-solid yarn that shows off cables and has a bit of a stretch to make the lace shine through.
