Shaw's Cove is a crescent shaped two-color shawl knit in one piece from the center-top outward. It is shaped by all the increasing done on the edging. With both charts and written instructions, knitters are able to choose the most comfortable way to follow the pattern. Dani at Sunshine Yarns ( sent me these two gorgeous skeins to design with and I couldn't be happier with how they played together. The main color is called Pacific so I went looking for Pacific beach names and came across Shaw's Cove... seemed about perfect to me! LeftSide Knits
I first picked up a pair of needles in 2007 and became smitten immediately. It was as if this new, creative world just opened for me. Aided by my cat Ralph, who loves to lay on my blocking FOs, I started LeftSideKnits, as an outlet for my love of knitting. I began experimenting with designing in 2010 and it has quickly become my true love. You can find me on Ravelry as LeftSideKnits.
