PATTERN DETAILS

This simple pullover was designed to make the most of the saddle shoulder yoke construction. Totally unisex, it would suit a girl as well as a boy. It is designed to be comfortably loose without being oversized, for a versatile garment little children will enjoy as much as the older kids. It is worked from the top down in the round with simple color blocks that requires only striping, one strongly contrasting color for the sleeves and two contrasting colors for the body. A note about size: it is always a good idea to measure the size of the chest of the child the sweater is intended for before choosing a size. You can easily modify the sizing of this garment by choosing a larger or smaller chest size and working the length associated with another size, for a custom fit. Yarn requirements and sizes Sizes: 6m (12m, 2T, 4T, 6y, 8y, 10y) Chest (finished garment): 20 (22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32)" intended with 11/2-2" positive ease Yarn 200 (225, 250, 275, 325, 350, 450) yds in C1 of worsted weight wool 150 (175, 200, 225, 250, 275, 325) yds in C2 of worsted weight wool 150 (175, 200, 225, 250, 275, 325) yds in C3 of worsted weight wool Sample shows Berroco Vintage (worsted weight, 52% acrylic, 40% wool, 8% nylon, 218 yds per 100g skein).
