Seegras is a cowl that drapes around the neck very naturally and knits up quickly. The fringed border resembles the form of seaweed, that is what Seegras means in my native language, German. The main part is knit in rows. The stitches for the border are then picked up along the longer edge and the border is knit in rows perpendicular to the rows of the main part. Finally the cast-on edge is sewn together with the bind-off edge. You may add a twist when sewing the edges together. Knitting for me is all about experimenting, trying new things, re-discovering old stuff and mixing everything together. I also like a challenge when I knit. I enjoy immensely to have an idea and to think: Yes, this would be nice but it is impossible to do. - Then I find a way to do it. It is just wonderful that I can write down my ideas at home, upload them here on Craftsy and instantly share them with other knitters all around the world. I so love the internet!
