PATTERN DETAILS

Though many colors would work, it's the blues and whites that make this hat for me. So lovely together and soothing to see. A great, warm, (optionally fleece lined) hat that will make a loved gift for a friend, relative, or just for you. Leave the earflaps off if you like, change the colors, put a tassel instead of a pompom. In other words, make it your own. Line with a fleece cap (instructions included) and make it cozy on the coldest of days. Cascade 220 Wool or Knit Picks Wool of the Andes and size 7 US circular needles will make it knit up quickly. Created for my annual Red Cross Fundraiser for Japan Earthquake Relief and then published in KNIT magazine in 2011. Enjoy.
