Knitting and crochet are my true passions but I expect to stay a part-time designer until I “retire” from my day job. I have a PhD in maths and started out in academia but I now work as an analyst for a Govt Dept. Although I am new to publishing in knitting and crochet I hope that my customers will benefit from my experience in teaching and publishing for a variety of audiences over the last 25 years. I am lucky to have a husband who understands hobbies and especially the need for a hobby budget :-) We live in Australia’s national capital, Canberra, with our four footy-mad sons, in a house we designed in a lovely new suburb with landscaped parks and lots of birds, including beautiful black swans.
