Richting is the first pattern to be released in a collection that was inspired by my summer bike tour to the Netherlands. All of the designs work great for active pursuits while being stylish enough for everyday wear. This warm, yet lightweight cap fits perfectly under a bike helmet to keep you toasty on the road. The textured stitch pattern flows like the currents it's named after, and with a pop of contrast color at the hem it looks dashing off the bike, too. A simple and interesting combination of knits and purls, the pattern works well for women or men. Charted and written instructions. I'm Andrea and I make great knitting patterns! I live on Vancouver Island in Canada, where I knit, design, and ride my bike. I love the functionality and beauty of knitting and knit everything from head to toe. My patterns have been published in Brooklyn Tweed Wool People, Twist Collective, Interweave Knits, Knitscene, Knitty, and other publications, as well as independently. I'm working on a book called Rugged Knits with Interweave that's scheduled to come out in the spring of 2016. All of my independently-published patterns have been thoroughly tested and edited for clarity and accuracy.
