In 1982, I bought a jar of beads and found the remnants of an antique purse in the jar. 12 years ago, I decided to try and remake this purse. I tried different types of thread and beads. Finally after many trials, I found the right combination. I am a lover of the Victorian Era. I would like to share this purse with other people like me. Or other people who would like to own or make an antique purse from this era. If you love to knit, this is a one of a kind piece of artwork, It is also a purse you can use. When using the Czech glass beads, there is a soft silky feeling of the purse. The amount of time it took me to complete this purse was approximately 50 hours. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Know how tho knit the bascis, The garter stitch, Cast on and Bind off. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS The purse measures 6 1/2 inches high and & 1/2 inches wide

I am a costume designer. I have been a seamstress for over 40 years. I love to do arts and crafts. I have worked in costumes since 1980. I love history. Right now, I am a caregiver to my mom and have lots of time to do my projects. My grandmother taught me how to knit at the age of 10. If anyone would like to see more pictures, I shared them on Ravelry, for the public.
