This hat's name speaks for itself; It is two identical hats in one! Have fun choosing a pair of matching or high contrast colors for your Replica Reversible Hat. A luxurious kid mohair and silk blend makes a warm, yet sculptural topper. Starting at the brim with a provisional cast-on, the first hat is worked in the round to the top of the crown. The second hat is repeated from the cast-on, creating a strange pill-like shape. Pop one inside the other and, Voila! A cosy double-thick hat that is easy to style! Experimentation is required! Wear with the brim down for a cosy cloche, with splash of contrast peaking out; Or pull up one edge; Or all the way around to show off your colours. You will enjoy playing with your Replica hat almost as much as knitting it! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Easy pattern that is an intermediate level challenge. This yarn is very thin and requires nimble fingers! GAUGE 22sts = 4 inches SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS A generous fit for 19"-21" head circumference. Will fit teen to adult woman's head. I have been artistic all my life, but no medium has obsessed me more than knitting. I live with my needles in hand! After leaving a career in social work, I decided to make fiber art central in my life. I got started in the fiber craft industry managing Mary Maxim Boutique in Toronto and as a Designer Assistant for Americo Original. In May 2012, I moved to Guelph, Ontario to further pursue an artistic life. As a newer indie designer, I am building my brand, Ash Kearns Handknitting and publishing regularly. I currently display my designs and teach regularly in Guelph, Ontario at All Strung Out Fine Yarns.
