This pattern will fit almost any size. Modeled in child size 5 but easily moves up to Adult XL. You can use any DK, Sport or baby yarn. If you want a larger size use a heavier yarn and a larger needle. If you want to use a thinner yarn and smaller needle just add additional repeats of the lace panel. This is an easy pattern to adjust to the size you need. If you don't want to use a button as a closure, then sew two pieces of ribbon to the front corners and tie it in a bow. This will make any child (or woman) feel like a princess! GAUGE 4 stitches to an inch SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS child through adult XL SUGGESTED YARN 95 yards of Sport weight

Recommended with this pattern

  • 95 yards of any DK, sport, or baby weight yarn

I learned crochet at my mothers knee (mostly as a way to get me to leave her alone while she got work done.) Years later I found myself in a new state, divorced and alone. I took up knitting as a way to give my mind a new interest and focus. After all, how hard could it be? I mean, I already knew how to crochet, right? Well it was hard, but it was worth it. Now, 10 years later, I design both crochet and knitting designs and I am thinking of taking up tatting.
