PATTERN DETAILS

Piccolo is a fun and pretty stranded colorwork hat with moderate slouch. It is started with a tubular cast on and worked from the brim up in a simple 2 color abstract pattern. Piccolo is a fast and rewarding knit and would make a good first stranded colorwork project. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Work stranded colorwork using chart Cast on using a tubular cast on Knit in the round Decrease using k2tog GAUGE 28 sts and 32 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch, blocked. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS One size, women's medium Measurements: 201/2" brim circumference, will stretch to fit head 19-22" SUGGESTED YARN 220 yards of Sport weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Knitpicks Andean Treasure COLORWAY Prairie Heather
