PATTERN DETAILS

This is a fun Moebius........both to knit and to wear. The knitting is simple, but the beaded curlicues (instructions how to work included) take the basic garter stitch to another level. The little beaded curlicues are "knitted in" as you go around and around and give added drape to the Moebius. Soft, cozy and comfortable to wear, this piece will sure to be a great addition to your wardrobe. Why the name "Phosphorescence"? I designed this Moebius while sailing on the Ocean. At night, phosphorescence may be seen at the bow and sides of the boat where photo plankton have been disturbed. The sparkling beads on the ends of the curlicues remind me of that. A You Tube link is included in the pattern which shows the Moebius Cast On. I have loved making things that involve using my hands ever since I was a very small child. Things have evolved since then. Sewing, quilting, smocking, embroidery, spinning and of course knitting and machine knitting. I have been designing my own knitting patterns for many years now, but more seriously during the last 5 years. Since 2008, my husband and I have been living aboard our sailings vessel "ONEDAY". We left Bayfield ON in August 2008 and up to this time, we have spent our time cruising the Eastern Seaboard and the Bahamas. For a couple of months each year, we return to our home in Ontario where I love to teach knitting classes which I create around my own designs. I have paterns for sale on Craftsy, Knit Picks, Etsy and on Ravelry also. You can find me under my name, Linda Sellick or "ONEDAYDESIGNS".
