I was inspired by the memory of my childhood days spent searching for peacock feathers at my parent's friend's house on the Maryland eastern shore. This pattern includes instructions for making both the cowl and the mitts. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Stranded colorwork Intarsia colorwork GAUGE 20 stitches = 4" (10 cm), 26 rows= 4" (10 cm) in stockinette stitch SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Sample Finished Size: Cowl: 21" (53 cm) circumference, 9" (22.5 cm) wide unstretched Mitts: fits up to 9" (22.5 cm) around palm
